The Time Keeper - Mitch Albom
Want time, need time, save time - these are all the things that we always want when we are in a time crunch. But have you ever wondered how we started to measure time?
This book " The Time Keeper " is all about that.. Dor, the father of time (some may find this a comical character) is enjoying his childhood days playing with Alli, but he always tries to measure the time using water, shadow, sticks, etc., He turns into a man but always has the thirst to find out. Due to circumstances, he falls off a tower and wakes up in a cave.
Here, he starts to hear voices of people who speak and pray for time. In this way, he holds up his face in hand and hears it for around 6000 years!
Then, he gets assigned to change the lives of two people - a teenage girl and an 80 year old man - and make them understand life and how he does that is the crux of the story. Three of these characters travel throughout the book, but I loved the life of Dor and Alli, where he always yearned for his family and all of it.

Being Perfect:
I had some work today. I did everything and got them completed on time , even though I did, I was noted as "late submission" and signed as such :(
When people do things that are not considered to be "on time" get their job done with all the respect. But when you are "perfect", people note you down to be "attitude , no respect" type in every other place.
Today is one such day, even after all this, I did the given work, within the curfew. Now, when I went to get another sign, due to my " image ", the other few also got the sign as "late". I don't know "being perfect" is such a sin.
This follows me through all these years... Now I really want to know , what is the expectation? or what do you want to extract from us ? (I was consoling myself with all the motivation of "you have seen worse things in the past", "breathe", "no tension" during the waiting hours ) ..
Never mind ! Done with all these things. I will give my best as always! I can handle this!
Proud to say, "it's all fate"!! Maybe only mine..:(
